Junior judges are openly recruited every June & December
Mid/Senior judges are promoted based on KPI in the past 6 months
Mid/Senior judges are promoted based on KPI in the past 6 months
Junior Judges
Filter out clearly low-quality, off-topic or casual shots; a work is eliminated only after at least three junior “reject” votes. Remaining works move on to mid-level review.
Mid-level Judges
Vote on the works that pass junior screening; reaching the promotion threshold grants the Featured tag and pushes the work to senior judges. Reaching the elimination threshold removes it with no tag.
Senior Judges
Score Featured works on a 10-point scale; works meeting the Top Pick threshold get the Top Pick tag. Daily Photo level works enter a queue and are published by curated rotation rules.
Honor Judges
Former judges who made outstanding contributions to the selection process
